MEL JONES

Editor, essayist, storyteller, poet, teacher, farmer, computer and fountain pen user, lover of baseball and museums. I am a Whovian-Bombeckian-Shakespearean. Writer of snide social, political, and anecdotal tales. Recorder of random conversations. Rabid Red Sox fan. News junkie. Animal and fashion loving, tree-hugging hippie extraordinaire. Oh, and I'm a bit of a fashionista.

Generally publishes on Sundays and Thursdays; but fills any gaps as well.

PREVIOUS BLOGGER: JT HOSACK

J.T. Hosack has been a writer since his earliest memories. It wasn't until graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro that he truly found his calling in Autoethnography. His mentor, Dr. Christopher Poulos, an accomplished and revered autoethnographer, walked him through the highs and lows of the method. He found it's dramatic nature and the emotional foundation of the method to be inspiring. J.T. thought, "If I can write how I like, move people to understand or make change, and advance Communication Theory, what am I waiting for?" J.T. earned a B.A. in Communication Theory from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, and an M.A. in Communication Theory from UNC in Greensboro. J.T. is an actor, a musician. He's a jack of all trades and a master of none. J.T. currently is a full-time professor at Bryant & Stratton College in Richmond, Virginia. He lives with his wife and son, Kari and Jamie, in Mechanicsville, VA. He loves all things nerd-culture (i.e., wrestling, video games, D&D, and more).

Usually publishes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
