To drag across soaked sloppy shores
Through sideways rain
Up into whirling winds
Up into roaring clouds
Beyond foreboding skies
Weather it down to a tossing rock
To hold gentle ‘tween palms
To bring back a pebble
To skip ‘cross still springs
