No fear shows up in a poem
Though there is boundless fear in love
Courage in love
Healing in love
A mark
Typed or swirled in colorful crayon or ink or pencil
Or a finger in sand
Making a mark
“We were here”
To bring unseen to bare
To bring up from the depths
Of even dark hearts
To lighten up
Even the dark hearts
To warm up
Even the cold hearts
To mark up the world
To show the ones who won't see
To blast out
To carve out
Spaces for the unloved
Safety for the unloved
To love the unloved
To leave a mark
